Do I need to know how to read an EKG to be successful in taking ACLS or PALS?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

ACLS and PALS programs are not intended to provide the student with fundamental EKG interpretation skills. Ideally you should have a basic understanding of EKG Interpretation prior to taking the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How long do I have to complete the HeartCode online course from the AHA?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Once activated, each HeartCode online course must be completed within 2 years. A certification eCard will not be issued until the online course and hands on skills testing session have both been successfully completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are books required for online courses?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The HeartCode online courses from the AHA provide the content necessary to learn the covered topic. However, you will have the option to purchase a course book for an additional charge if you would like one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When will I receive my AHA eCard certification after completing a course?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

eCards are typically issued the same day of the class attended, within a few hours, however we ask that you kindly allow up to 24 hours for the eCard to be sent to you via email. If you have an urgent need for your eCard right away, just let us know!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you offer discounts for group training?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Please contact us directly at 866-448-2257<\/a> so we can assist you with organizing a group training session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a reschedule \/ refund policy?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Woodson Education will always work with you if you need to reschedule your class date. Just let us know ahead of time by sending us an email or giving us a call. We are a family-oriented business, and we understand that things happen, especially during these times we are in now. We will work with you to accommodate your needs!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refunds or credits are not issued for classes that are not attended (no call, no show).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Individuals who request to cancel a confirmed enrollment at least 7 days prior to the scheduled class date will be entitled to a full refund minus the fee for any opened course books and shipping charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are no refunds for HeartCode Online classes that have already been started. This is because the class cannot be assigned to another student once you have begun. Fees for skills testing are fully refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
