PALS Provider + BLS Online and Hands on Skills Testing
The PALS Provider course is designed for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other healthcare providers who initiate and direct advanced life support pediatric emergencies. The goal of the PALS course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently and effectively manage critically ill infants and children, resulting in improved outcomes. Upon Successful completion of the course, students will receive an American Heart Association PALS Provider card that is valid for 2 years. If purchased, your PALS course book will be mailed out within one business day after successful registration and payment is received.
The BLS HeartCode and hands on Skills Testing course is designed to meet part one (HeartCode BLS online class), part two (practice) and part three (testing) of the BLS for Healthcare Providers online program. This skills session will be incorporated into your ACLS Provider class, and will cover the practical component required by the American Heart Association to receive a BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR eCard. Students will need to present their certificate from part one of the class and will then be tested following the prescribed criteria including Adult/Child CPR, AED use, and Infant CPR. Upon successful completion, students will receive their American Heart Association BLS eCard which is valid for two years.
